Kangana, as usual, campaigned for PM Narendra Modi on Twitter by blaming a certain section of the people, whom she deemed as anti-nationals, for allegedly spreading rumours about COVID-19 vaccines. She said that these 'anti-nationals' are now desperate to get vaccinated. She agreed that the current situation is tragic, however, she also found some parts of it amusing. Reacting to a tweet about COVID-19 vaccine, Kangana wrote, 'A friend of mine who got first jab got covid positive, he says it felt too mild so it definitely works, interestingly PM has been requesting everyone who was eligible to get vaccination, huge stocks got expired because of rumours spread by antinational elements, what to do !!' On a day when India recorded 3.14 Lakh Covid cases and over 2,104 deaths in a day, the Supreme Court on Thursday took suo motu cognisance of Covid management and sought a national plan from the Centre on supply of oxygen, essential drugs supply and method and manner of vaccination. The top court took cognisance of Covid management, when High Courts across the country are hearing petitions in connection with crisis of oxygen supply, hospital beds and shortage of the anti-viral drug Remdesivir in hospitals.

A Twitter squabble has erupted between Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and comedian Saloni Gaur as the former laid out her opinions about the laws for population control in India. When Kangana said that there “should be fine or imprisonment for third child,” Saloni shared an image suggesting that Kangana has two other siblings.

Kangana recalled the Emergency and the forced sterlisation drives, Kangana wrote, “We need strict laws for population control, enough of vote politics.” She went on demand ‘fine or imprisonment for third child’.

After Saloni shared the image suggesting that Kangana and two siblings, the Manikarnika actor shared her reply that read, “No wonder your comedy is a joke on you,my great grandpa had 8 siblings in those days many children used to die, in jungles there were more animals hardly any humans, we must change with changing times, need of the hour is population control like China we should have strong rules.”
